In honor of Angie

In the same tradition that has made us so strong at pullups I'm instituting a "no modification" rule for those who can do 2 pushups...

Remember when you got that first pullup without a band?
Remember the 1 grueling rep at a time during our circuits?
(and how I said once you get one without a band you never go back?)
Where are you now?

Time to see where we can go with our pushups.

We will modify the volume of pushups for you during a circuit but will not scale the movement.

Jerry - I'm NOT modifying my pushups, you just assumed that I did for Angie.

Hmmm - well, this should be interesting! I certainly fall into the category you're describing, fresh I can get 10 push-ups... so I guess no more mods for me..

Burpees will be VERY interesting. And by interesting, I mean slow :)

We keep max pullup stats, why not max perfect pushup stats?

I was commenting the other day how strong your pushups have been!

So sorry about that it was a lot of numbers to try to read, organize and transfer along with trying to remember who did what!

Anyone else I got wrong?

B-dog,
You made a few max effort pushup days...the range of motion and standard is to tough for individuals to self-judge.

That and I don't like standing next to people saying;5,5,6,7,8,8,8,8...

Seriously, it would take me giving a one-on-one test for everyone.

I'd rather spend the time having you work ring dips and strict press!

But...

We will experiment with you and see how it goes!
